Things to Know

HOMESTEAD HUNTING

Cost and Info: 

· $400.00 per day/ per gun for 3 to 5 day hunts

o Maximum bag limit is 15 roosters for 5 days.

o 1 day deposit is required to secure your spot

§ ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

What We Provide:

· Professional guided natural hunting with dogs

· Thousands of wild pheasants

· Thousands of acres of prime natural hunting habitat 

· Lodging accommodations at our Homestead Hunting Lodge 

· Continental breakfast and lunches

· Warm up with some trap shooting

· Bird cleaning available for an additional fee

· Pickup and drop off to the Aberdeen Regional Airport

· Most importantly, the time of your life

What you need to provide:

· Transportation to the Lodge if not flying

· Your favorite gun and lots of shells!

· Hunting cloths and equipment (weather can vary from the 80’s to the 20’s and wind, rain or snow)

· Good hunting boots that you can walk in for several miles

· Safety item that are mandatory, blaze orange cap, vest or jacket. Eye protection is mandatory and hearing protection is highly recommended. SAFETY FIRST!

· If you are bringing a dog, a copy of their shots is required

· Last but not least, your South Dakota hunting license with the proper hunting dates
